The Kindness Chronicles

This is something everyone should do!  It's sort of like another website I use, gratitudelog.com.  With both sites, it's an opportunity to look at what you have, what you've done that kind, and to make note of the kindnesses that others have shared with you.  It's an opportunity to be grateful.

Most kids don't really consider how much thought, on the part of their parents, goes into a normal day and getting everything done. So, just for a moment, think about all the errands and sports and trips to friends' houses and malls and other stuff that your adults do just for you - to make your life easier - because they love you.

I know my own parents never asked for anything in return (except that I do the dishes!) for all the running about and meal making and house cleaning and heat and room and art supplies and and and...  They always just wanted the best for me.  I hope each of you have parents *just like mine* cuz mine are the best!

This idea is about taking a few moments each month and just honoring the kindnesses that have been done for you and to honor the kindnesses that you have done for others.

That's worth writing about.

That's worth doing.
