Stick Figures

I've been making stick figures for several years now.  It started as a quick way to capture our dog's, Sophie, wild puppy antics in my personal journals.  She acted remarkably similar to Marley from the movie Marley & Me!  Anyway, my stick figures were a little more than sticks, so I called them Sophisticated Sticks, at my Mom's suggestion.

I recently came across a fun little site that allows anyone to create those stick figure families that are all over people's cars.  FUN!  CUTE!  Here's my family:

I had to adjust me, because I don't *ever* wear dresses.  I really should have adjusted Daphne, for the same reason, but she does occasionally wear dresses; like to dances & special occasions.  As far as I'm concerned, there's no occasion special enough to wear a dress.  The wind comes up under the skirt and in one poof, everyone can see your underwear AND you're cold!  NOT my idea of a well thought out plan for clothing.

So, I adjusted myself, and I made Yenna taller, as she's a standard poodle.  I also made Sophie a big dog and gave her a little more mass than Yenna.  Sophie's a lab, so there's about a third more pounds on her.

Even though Daphne and Devon and Sophie aren't "mine," they're "my" kids, too.  My brother has to share them, like it or not!  Hahahah!  It's a good thing he doesn't mind sharing.
